KOINONIA is a biblical word that expresses the common experiences and interests of Christians as they share in the participation and knowledge of the Son of God, in the effects of the Blood of Christ and the Body of Christ. Christ cannot be fully experienced outside of the active Body of Christ (i.e., the fellowship of believers). We are ministered to by the hands, feet, heart, and mouth of Christ as we are present with other believers in whom Christ dwells. We also experience the power of the resurrection acting in us as we minister to others in the power of God's varied grace of which we all partake.
